Stations 252, and 246 alerted for reported apartment fire

December 12th, 2007 - At 11:09AM the structure response was dispatched for a reported gas explosion and apartment on fire at the Cascade Apartments on Cemetery Lane. 252 Assistant Chief (Mark Ford Sr.) arrived first along with Ross Police to find a good smoke condition from the apartment, however no fire. There was also an injury to a resident. 252 Engine arrived first and checked for extension. While 246 Engne 2 (with 5) arrived next and assisted in salvage and overhaul operations. Units returned a short time later. 252 Assistant Chief had the command.

Station 246 requested for Residential Structure Fire

December 10th, 2007 - Station 246 was special requested to a structure fire on Anderson Road in Shaler Township. 246 Engine 2, and the Squad responded to the scene. 246 crews were assigned to do extensive overhaul, as well as extinguish hotspots. 259 Chief (Jeff Woodall) had the command, and 259 Assistant Chief (Bud Leas) had the operations command.
