Motor Vehicle Crash w/ Rollover

March 20th, 2007 - With the early morning ice, there were many accidents. One of which occurred on People's Rd. Stations 246, 254, along with Ross West View EMS were alerted for a vehicle crash with rollover. Ross Police arrived on scene and confirmed a rollover, with vehicle into structure. EMS took a disregard, and 246 Engine 2, and 254 Fire Police continued in. 246 Engine 2 secured hazards as well as made entry into the building to find a haze of smoke in the building. Crews investigated and found a microwave switch had been hit as a result of the crash causing the smoke. 246 Engine 2 returned while 254 remained on scene awaiting the tow truck.

Public Service Detail

March 31st, 2007 - Today, 246 Engine 2, 246 Engine 1, and 246 Squad helped escort the Easter Bunny up to the Ross Municipal Center for their Easter Egg Hunt. Both engines stood by for about 2 hours so the kids in attendance could see the engines, climb up on them, and try on some of the gear.
